Prices are about what you'd expect, maybe even a little low given the relative affluence of the nearby neighborhoods. PKD's justifiably famous Deli Burger, topped with standard fare plus grilled pastrami, goes for $7.95. Ditto for the Turkey Burger, another local favorite. The most expensive item on the menu is the Steak Sandwich at $14.95. The kitchen also serves a variety of Jewish comfort food as appetizers, from servings of gefilte fish to bowls of matzo ball soup.
On their webpage they claim to be the "Best Kosher Deli outside of New York," which isn't in and of itself surprising to see. Lots of mom and pops say they're the best at something. The unusual thing here is that there's a bevy of local New York transplants who will gladly line up to agree.
Pico Kosher Deli is open 10am-8:30pm Sunday-Thursday, 9am-2pm on Friday, and is obviously closed on Saturday.
