'Twilight' Stars Bond in Vancouver as 'Eclipse' Begins Filming

August 17, 2009 at 11:19 AM | by cmb | 0 Comments

Do you hear that? Perhaps it's too high-pitched for human ears; It's the excited squee of Twi-Hards around the world as the third movie in The Twilight Saga, Eclipse, begins filming in Vancouver today.

Even though they just arrived last week, the cast has already gotten in some quality time together. First, at Miko Sushi, 1335 Robson St, where Robert Pattinson, Kristin Stewart and the rest of the cast had a pre-production dinner party Friday night. Miko's is one of Vancouver's most popular Japanese restaurants, so its always crowded but the service is fast and the portions are large. Most entrees, like their Tuna Nigiri, run between $10 and $15.

On Saturday night, the Twilight stars were spotted out together again at a Kings of Leon concert. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson appeared to be getting cozy at the show, adding fuel to the firestorm of rumors that they are planning on moving in together once Eclipse wraps in October.

KOL isn't the first concert the cast has attended together either. Back in April, while filming New Moon, the stars supported one of their own, Jackson Rathbone, when his band, 100 Monkeys, played at Backstage Lounge on Granville Island. If concerts are their thing, they have plenty to look forward to while they're filming this fall. On August 24th, Elvis Costello is playing at the Melkin Bowl in Stanley Park, Franz Ferdinand is also playing at the Malkin Bowl on September 6th, and as the grand finale, they can check out U2 at BC Place on October 28th.
