Jetblue Releases All-You-Can-Jet Pass For $599

August 12, 2009 at 12:41 PM | by JetSetCD | 5 Comments

We are hyperventilating over here at Jaunted HQ as Jetblue has just announced the creation of an All-You-Can-Jet Pass. This sweet ticket, available for purchase now through August 21 and only valid between September 8 and October 8, costs only $599 and gets you onboard any Jetblue flight within that time period.

Of course awesomeness such as this has some terms and conditions. While domestic taxes and fees are already included (score!), international and Puerto Rico ones aren't. Also, you've got to book each flight three days in advance (no waking up and deciding to go to LA for the day), and you can't pass it around between friends and family members—it's just for you.

If you're flexible enough to take full advantage of this, or a business traveler for whom this would work great, you'll get 35 TrueBlue points with the purchase, and if you already hold a regular ticket during this time period and want to upgrade to the pass, you can. You may also change or cancel your flights during the month for free if you do so three days before the flight. If you're seriously interested, make sure to read all of the information on their website, including steps on how you'd go about booking your bevy of trips.

If you think of it, this All-You-Can-Jet pass is like a Eurail pass, but um ... in the sky and in North America, and that works for us.

    Is It Just Me?

..Or is this the best idea/gimmick ever? I hope this comes around again when I can better take advantage of it.

    Hmm...

Just for a month? That's certainly not long enough...If they could make it for 90 days, that'd be AMAZING!

    All you can jet pass

In the summer of 1982 myself and a friend bought a Delta Visit America Pass and ticketed travel to 26 US cities in 4 weeks. We managed around 20 cities but at the end of it we felt we lived at Atlanta airport, as it was Delta`s main Hub. The fare was less than $500 and I think we ate more than that in Delta food. Seeing the ticket agent`s face when we checked-in was priceless, "Youall aren`t really goin to all these cities"! Not long after our trip Delta and other airlines stopped offering unlimited mileage passes. Of course those were the days before the TSA and Security. I would not do it now, so good luck to all the Jet Blue fliers.
