To encourage the idea of heading from Australia to LA for a weekend trip, V Australia is asking their fans to tweet on their contest website with a reason for being sent to LA, and if you win, you'll be up against a few other teams tweeting every minute of your days in LA in pursuit of the grand prize: a round-the-world ticket on V Australia and Virgin Atlantic.
Thank god Virgin will let you bring not one, but two friends, since tweeting every minute means no sleep for the winners. That's three straight days of tapping out 140-character updates, or 72 hours, or 4320 minutes—the exact number of tweets you must accomplish to win the round-the-world ticket.
Think you can do it? If you can depart from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and are willing to run your typing thumbs raw, then get to thining up a good reason under 140 characters; the contest ends late on July 19.
