Comedy & Magic Club: This Hermosa Beach standby is one of the most likely spots for big-time star sightings. Jay Leno has a standing Sunday night gig and everyone from Jim Carrey to Jerry Seinfeld have been known to stop by unannounced. And if they bomb, you can always catch the magicians.
The Ice House: Dating back to the 1960’s, this former ice warehouse is worth the trek out to Pasadena for the roster of consistently funny up-and-comers. Admission is free if you eat first at the on-site Comics Restaurant.
The Improv: This club is featured in the film, and there’s a reason why—Sandler has performed here in real life too, as have plenty of serious funny people, from David Letterman to Drew Carey.
