Become an informed consumer while still on vacation! Check out Jaunted's newest series of the best factory tours the world over.

Get off the Strip for a few hours on your next Vegas trip to stop and smell the flowers -- and the chocolates! Indie chocolate company Ethel M. offers free self-guided tours in their Henderson, Nevada factory, which shares grounds with a botanical cactus garden. Live flora in Vegas? Stranger things have happened.

Ethel's Chocolate Lounge is a boutiquey sweet shop selling its own bars and delicate truffles in Vegas and online. Watch Ethel's workers put together these special treats for free Monday through Friday (production runs from 8:30AM to 3:30PM), then pick your spoils at the company store—complete with cold packs to protect the goodies—or enjoy them onsite at the Chocolate Lounge.

Thus stuffed with chocolate, stroll outside to the Botanical Cactus Garden, starring over 300 kinds of the cacti ripped out of the desert to build the megacasinos we all know and love. The 2.5-acre park is a nature preserve appropriate for Vegas and is open 7 days a week for those who would choose the prickly path away from temptation.
