Frysmith’s hand-cut Kennebec potatoesor sweet potatoes if you preferare fried in canola oil and topped with some wonderfully out-there options, like beer-and-chocolate-laced chili; fire-roasted poplano chiles, caramelized onion and shwarma-marinated steak; or kimchi and heirloom pork. But they don’t go so gourmet as to forget the all-important gooey melted cheddar cheese as well.
For those of you holding your hearts and reeling in horror, don’t forget this is LA, so of course there’s a vegan option as well. But it’s just as tantalizingly strange: organic tomato and mixed beans with soy chorizo and smoked paprika, served with or without cheese.
