Dopplr's iPhone App Tracks Trips And Doles Out Tips

While it's beginning to seem like you aren't a relevant, modern business if you don't have an iPhone app, the latest to join the club just seems like they should have had one all along. It's Dopplr, the trip detail-tracking website which we've been using to plot our travel hops since it was still an invite-only site.

As Dopplr moves toward incorporating more Yelp-like content of recommended restaurants and more, the site and app even welcomes those who haven't created a trip profile, since now and then everyone just needs a little help making decisions in a foreign place. Utilizing the iPhone's GPS function, the Dopplr app will spot you in the world and reveal great places to dine, sight-see, and sleep as recommended by other Dopplr users. But it also deals out the features we've come to know and love about the Dopplr website:

You can keep in touch with your fellow travellers, find out what city and timezone they are in, and what future trips they have planned. You can view your own planned trips, and find co-incidences when fellow travellers will be nearby. You can even contact them directly from inside the app.

For non iPhone user, you're in luck as the Dopplr App is planned for release on all major location-based devices like those from Nokia, Blackberry and Google Android.

love to travel with Dopplr

Dopplr App is really something usable. Since one of its features is trip detail-tracking website which been used to plot travel hops, good for gigs. This is worth of getting paycheck loans is you still don't have it. Me? I'll try to have it as soon as possible. Thanks for the review in this awesome App. Well I love to travel so this is a good thing for my friends and me. Hope for more updates.

Is Dopplr available for Symbian as well?

I don't have iphone but I want a Dopplr application for my Nokia 5530.Is this application available for symbian platform.
