Take off work and join in the all-day party at Cercle Rouge in TriBeCa, starting with Petanque (bocce to non-Francophones) at 10am, followed by a baby foot tournament (we call it foosball) at 11am, with music all day and night.
In the evening, head over to Brasserie Les Halles in Midtown, where they’re serving up a Louis XVI-sized feast at populist prices, featuring stuffed roasted whole pig for four—for just $24.
Of if you’re looking for a less filling, more cultural Bastille Day experience, the Alliance Francaise is screening Claude Sautet’s 1970 film Les Choses De La Vie three times on Tuesday, at 12:30pm, 4 and 7pm.
Joyeux Quatorze Juillet!
