For those lacking passports, Class IV rapids await within the Tuolumne River in the Golden State. Try your best to hang on for the whole 18-mile trip as you rush through the canyon.
The final two trips take potential adventure seekers outside of North America. The Futaleufú in Chile will welcome you with Class V rapids as you look up to see snow atop the Andes Mountains. If you prefer Patagonia apparel rather than the real Patagonia, then there’s one last option: The Navua River in Fiji, which is available year round. After you’re done, there’s probably some pretty good relaxation to be found there as well.
Remember to sign up for their Frequent Floater Program, because after five trips you’ll start to receive 5% off your next adventure. Prices vary greatly depending on where you want to go, but everyone like to save a few bucks. If you complete all seven of their whitewater wonders they’ll be happy to award you with a snazzy certificate and a free O.A.R.S. fleece jacketwhat did we say about Patagonia apparel?
