Universal Studios Is Already Prepping For A Horror Show Halloween

Although summer has just begun, the theme park-loving people are already looking forward to the next major holiday. To get the blood racing, Universal Studios has announced a few new details about this year’s Halloween festivities, and like usual, it looks to put other park’s offerings to shame.

The theme this year, Halloween Horror Nights, will be based on slasher films, horror flicks, and other scary movies. The parks on each coast will have similar offerings, but the park in Orlando has announced a few more details than its sibling out west.

Universal Orlando dares guests to come through the turnstiles to experience Ripped From The Silver Screen. Park-goers will have to do their best to navigate their way through attractions based on films like Saw, Chucky, and The Wolfman. We’ll be at home where it’s safe, thank you very much.

Things get underway over weekends in October in Hollywood, while Florida’s park will run their spooky events on select nights from September 25 through October 31. Just remember to leave your little brother at home, since children under 13 won’t be allowed to participate—it’s just too darn scary!

If you’d rather do the scaring, Universal Orlando is holding auditions in July for a number of positions. They are looking for scary street performers, stilt walkers, make-up artists, and more. We doubt that this will lead to a role in the next Hollywood blockbuster, but a dollar is a dollar, and you have to start somewhere!
