This Weekend In the World: Air Guitar And BYO Vodka To The Moscow Film Fest

Admit it; you've done it in your underwear, in front of the mirror, and most likely to show off for friends. Playing the air guitar is more than just a casual bit of fun for some however, and they've organized the Air Guitar Championships. This weekend sees the regional qualifying battles in both LA and San Diego, with the winners continuing onto the DC nationals before reaching for air guitar gold at the international air guitar competition in Oslo.

To exercise your rockstar abilities without actually having to play any instruments, check out the tournament information and location, and maybe scout it for next year; this a serious sport, you know, you should train.

· Moscow
If you love New York's Tribeca Film Festival, but would just love to chase a fine film with a bowl of borscht, then perhaps check out the Moscow International Film Festival running from June 19-28. This weekend, they'll be showing a huge variety of films, all competing for their version of the Palm d'Or, the Statuettes of St. George. Some of the films like Fashion and Pizza In Auschwitz are modern films, but classics like the Italian L'ape Regina, or "Conjugal Bed," will be screened as well.

· Munich
Are fashion and style blogs a secret vice of yours? Do you relish new additions to The Sartorialist's site? If so, then get your chic tushie to Munich this weekend for the gallery show "Visions In An Absolut World." Sure, it's sponsored by the vodka, but at least it brings together eleven of the world's cult-favorite fashion bloggers to present their works and meet-and-greet with readers. The exhibit runs only until June 25 at the Temporary Gallery.
