Where to Stay:
The Bearskin Neck Motor Lodge is a no frills motel but the price, $169 a night in the summer, and the location can’t be beat. The lodge is located in Bearskin Neck within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. Each room has a balcony overlooking the ocean too. But when we say no frills, we mean no frills. Most rooms are pretty outdated with paneling on the walls, plain white bedspreads and don’t expect a flat screen TV or oversize tub to soak in. But considering the views and location, who needs a flat screen anyway?
Where to Eat:
Right next door to the Bearskin Neck Motor Lodge is Roy Moore Lobster Company. Roy Moore is a small hole in the wall, its not much to look at but they are known for their lobster which is caught daily by local fisherman. The prices are affordable too with lobster dinners starting around $12.50.
