But yesterday, Rob filmed interior shots on University Ave, and this time he was shielded by large umbrellas and a security detail that could rival the secret service, leaving some fans, who had waited more than seven hours to see their beloved "Edward Cullen", disappointed.
According to OnLocationVacations.com, the shoot moves to Soho today and will film in the vicinity of Spring and Varick Streets, just steps from the monstrosity known as Trump Soho. The new high rise hotel towers over everything else in the neighborhood, ruining the view for local residents and guests at nearby hotels. On the other hand, if you can actually afford to stay at the Trump Soho when it opens, you will have unobstructed views of the city's skyline through floor-to ceiling windows, a prominent feature in every room.
The hotel is scheduled to open this fall but a series of set backs, including the death of a construction worker last year, have delayed Trump's grand opening, currently scheduled to take place sometime this fall. There are no rates available yet but a recent charity auction valued a two-night stay in a one-bedroom suite, dinner for two at the hotel's restaurant Quattro and a couple's spa treatment at $5000.
