SeatGuru's Survey Says United's Flight Attendants Are The Worst

SeatGuru just released results of their latest survey on airline quality and airline everything else. We always take information like this with a grain of salt, but it�s still interesting to see what a bunch of random people think about what�s going on in the sky.

Apparently, people don�t like much when it comes to United. The airline scored the title of rudest flight attendants. Don�t worry United, American Airlines and US Airways weren�t too far behind for flight attendant friendliness. All three domestic carriers were neck and neck when it came to the quality of their in-flight dining: not good. The trio also didn�t do too well when it came to the coziness of seats. JetBlue�s gray leather topped the charts for the comfort of economy seats.

Of course Singapore Airlines did the best when it came to pretty much everything. They blew away the competition with their food, flight attendants, and most comfortable business class seats. Too bad they aren�t offering a domestic JFK to LAX route anytime soon.

Besides service and quality, the survey also had some information regarding other in-flight, uh, entertainment. Flyers shared their most memorable gross-out items, and crushed bananas, dirty diapers, and �mystery stains� were some of the gems that you can look forward to on your next flight. As far as seatmates are concerned, people want to fly with the President and First Lady, but if they�re too busy, they�ll settle for Brangelina or Posh �n Becks.

Statistically, there�s not too much information from where these number were pulled, or how many travelers contributed their two cents. That�s why we�re opening up to you; we want to know if you agree with these results. Is United Airlines the biggest failure in the sky, or is there an airline that�s even worse? United's flight attendants are AWFUL! Avoid them! Don't talk to them! They will get your vacation off to a BAD start... I can seriously think of at least 5 instances when they have, without provocation, just been down-right surly. And generally over the most minor things! One grumpy old man flight attendant was SO rude to my sister (a nurse, mind you, and the girl falls over backwards to be polite to everyone) - we were just astounded. Oh - he was mad that when he asked her if she wanted tea (she said yes), she didn't KNOW to pick up her cup and put it on his little tray. I'll seriously never forget it. Those United flight attendants are CRAZY. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them freaks out and "goes postal" one day. Srsly.

United's Flight Attendants
I'm a frequent flyer on United, American and Delta Airlines. I travel over 50,000 miles a year on United alone. I have run into an occasional flight attendant who appears to be having a bad day but for the most part I have had nothing but positive experiences on my United flights. The United crews serve water and other beverages more often than the American and Delta crews and seem to be more safety oriented which I like. I have had several bad experiences on both American and Delta with rude crew members and I don't fly them as often. So I guess some of the survey participants were on board flights with the occasional rude flight attendants which are on every airline.

The Virgin Blue and Rex flight attendants are defs the best over here but you can strike some shockers on Qantas and Jetstar..but then again you get the odd good one.

flight attendants - Ooh lala!
We recently travelled on Biz Class on Air France - NY-CDG & CDG-Bombay - wow - we have flown biz class on several airlines before - while the others have all been pretty good, the Air France flight attendants are way way above all - each of them was young, slim & gorgeous (looked like models straight out of a fashion mag) & to add to that, ever smiling, ever ready to help for the slightest need! And I am a 65 year old woman, not some young buck speaking here!
