Allegiant Makes A Good Case For Florida In The Summer

June 15, 2009 at 9:17 AM | by kjb | 0 Comments

Florida gets pretty hot and humid during the summer, but the state has great beaches, the best theme parks, and the snowbirds won’t be back for many months. If you can stand the heat, make a plan to visit the Sunshine State and take advantage of The Florida Perfect Excuse Sale. Starting at just $29 each way, Allegiant Air will be happy to whisk you away for some fun in the sun.

Columbia, South Carolina is the only location offering the dirt-cheap rate, but there are many other cities with decent deals. Toledo residents can snag $49 rates if they missed out on the Jet America deals. The same price is available from Roanoke, Virginia and Knoxville, Tennessee.

If it’s still too cool in upstate New York, escape Plattsburgh from just $79 each way. Check out the available deals near your home base and start planning a trip to any of Allegiant's Florida destinations like Orlando or Ft. Lauderdale, among a couple other cities.

As is the case with most low cost carriers, the deals don’t include tax, fees, and a $13.50 convenience charge. For those who are near an airport with Allegiant service, swing by the ticket counter and buy your ticket the old fashioned way. You’ll save that $13.50 booking fee by not using their call center or website, and make sure to book by June 24 to take advantage of the sale. This is like, the only time you'll catch us recommending Allegiant since we're still in the pre-JetAmerica days.
