With a little bit of Moroccan culture on her skin, she looks to experience even more local flair by learning to belly dance with her pal Pilar Lastra. We thought that she’d catch on quickly, but that sadly wasn’t the case. However, after some practice, with things broken down step by step, the two girls did well enough to work up an appetite. Initially, they weren’t too impressed with the camel dish or the pigeon that they were served, but apparently it turned out to be quite the flavor sensation.
After getting our fill of the African coast, they jet back to Mexico for a location a little closer to home. Tulum, Mexico has some of the best-preserved ruins in the country, and the ancient Mayans definitely knew the first rule of real estate and selected a location right on a postcard-perfect beach. After a shoreline stroll, Bridget headed off to a Maya Spa Wellness Center to cleanse herself through a senso-perceptual journey. She did a good job trusting the guide, even when she was blindfolded and led into a sweat lodge.
Snacking on cactus tacos was a good appetizer, but the main course had to be the tequila tasting right on Tulum Beach. After a couple of classy shots, Bridget and her crew moved onto something a little less refined. The menu brought a little sip of Mescal, with of course, a little critter awaiting her at the bottom of the glass. By this point she was three sheets to the wind, so she gobbled up the worm without a problem.
So that’s pretty much it for season one of Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches. At first we weren’t too impressed the show, but it definitely grew on us, and we’re sad to see the season come to an end. We skimmed through the recap episode, but since we’re already Bridget experts it didn’t offer anything new. However, if you’re looking for the Cliffs Notes version of the show, it's worth checking out.
