Jimmy Fallon's Guide To The Best Bars in Milwaukee

While some stars were jetting off to the Cannes Film Festival last weekend, Jimmy Fallon took the road less traveled and spent a few days in Milwaukee. The Late Night host performed his stand up act at the Pabst Theater on Saturday, no doubt trying out some of the jokes we’ll be hearing on his show this week.

Jimmy’s weekend wasn’t all work and no play though. He did get a chance to take in some of Milwaukee’s finest drinking establishments and, of course, Tweeted all about it, saying "Bye, Milwaukee. So fun. Pabst theater is gorgeous. Great people" and "Jo Cat (pedal pub crawlers),Bryant's (crazy good cocktails), Club Brady (not a club - but dudes moshing to Pantera) and Wolski's (cold beer)."

Here’s a break down of Jimmy's Tweet about the best bars he visited in Milwaukee.

Jo Cat's Pub, 1311 E Brady St, is an 80's throwback that accepts cash only and plays an assortment of Bon Jovi hits on the weekend.

Bryant’s Cocktail Lounge, 1579 S. 9th Street, features a Velvet Lounge upstairs for "couples and large groups" with "velvet walls, comfortable captain’s chairs and all the same delicious drinks found at the downstairs Bryant’s lounge."

Club Brady, 1339 E Brady St, is a typical low-key corner college bar.

Wolski’s Tavern, 1836 N. Pulaski St, is one of Milwaukee's most popular bars made obvious by the disproportionate number of cars on the road with "I Closed Wolski's" bumper stickers. And just in case a bumper sticker is too classy, Wolski's also sells glow in the dark panties with the Wolski's logo and "Wish You Were Here" emblazoned across the back.

Wrong Title

How About "Jimmy Fallon Visits Some Random Milwaukee Establishments", Or "Jimmy Fallon Makes A Splash in the Dive Bars in Milwaukee." Or "Jimmy Fallon Goes Brady" , anything but saying 'best of Milwaukee'. This has to be the first time ever someone has Tweeted about JoCats or Club Brady, besides, "My roommate just threw up in Club Brady. Go Brewers!" from TwitterFon. Or "Two moms making out to "Free Bird" at JoCats. I am going try to get a phone number. http://twitpic.com/hdhds" Nonetheless, hope Jimmy Fallon had a good time. Milwaukee is good for that no matter where you go. Any other cool titles?

What a shame...

You guys are right about the list. It isn't all that it is cracked out to be. It's like me saying go to the Dells and get one of the hotels in Wisconsin Dells and go to a whole in a wall, like: ... I do like Jimmy, but the list is a little shameful.
