Upon arrival to Baltimore, the bus makes one extra and pleasantly unexpected stop in addition to Penn Station; it will let off passengers at Baltimore's Inner Harbor if there is a demand. We continued all the way in to Penn Station however, and enjoyed arriving to a better neighborhood than we're used to finding around train stations.
It was such a nice day and a quaint area that we continued to walk through the historical district with their abundance of churches and cobblestone streets until finally we gave in and hit up the tourist site of Washington Monument.
An impromptu craft fair, some hot dogs outside of the Orioles stadium, and a visit to Edgar Allan Poe's grave later, we were tuckered out. Peeking into our wallet, we noticed that we had spent less than $20 including our roundtrip bus ticketsexcellent! That left us wide and open to indulge in a great meal before boarding the bus back and facing another work week in New York.
Although the $1 fare promotion to Baltimore is now over, we checked out the website and noticed that one-ways are still holding steady at $10-$15 for next weekend. Watch for upcoming promotions on Jaunted and at their website.
