Moroccan Bazaar: Having not walked through an African open-air marketplace recently, we can only assume they have been greatly enhanced. But this ginger-nutmeg mix, served up in a plug-in with two separate scents, made our tiny bathroom a much more pleasant experience. We wouldn't want to use this scent around food, because that might be overkill, but leaving it plugged in for a few hours kept it fresh all day.
Hawaiian Aloha: Whoa, hibiscus! As soon as we opened the pink and white scented candle our senses were assaulted with the scent of a thousand leis. Unfortunately, it was so strong we could barely get close enough to light it and have it serve the purpose intended. Eyes watering, we quarantined it (unlit) to a dingy cabinet underneath the sink in hopes it would work its super magic there. Uh, check back in a few weeks.
Brazilian Carnaval: This was our favorite of the scents, which we tested in the aerosol spray. It doesn't smell like caipirinhas, dancing ladies or churrascaria, but its fruity scent, based according to the label on the smell of açaí berries, native to Brazil, was more pleasant than the body splashes we were raised on and held its odor pretty well.
All told, the products performed slightly less well than a vacation to relax and energize us. But someone at the company must have known this when they kicked off the launch with a sweepstakes to win a trip to either Hawaii, Morocco or Brazil. Don't forget to soak in the authentic smells, even the bad ones, once you get there.
