Fans of Foot Fist Way and Danny McBride will love this movie. It's not the same as Paul Blart: Mall Cop but it does involve a mall security officer who's on a mission to track down a pervert. Like Seth, the movie may seem all warm and cuddly, but don't bring the kids. There's a Borat-esque scene in it that might shock them.
After the movie, Seth, Anna and Jody answered a few questions from a moderator and the audience. Beforehand, the audience was searched by security for any video cameras and were told at the start of the film, "No filming and No Twittering." But if you're into seeing actors up close in person, then suffer through the bad vantage point in the front row during the film. They will sit down on a stage right in front of you when the movie's over.
Since we're huge fans of Foot Fist Way, Danny McBride and "Eastbound and Down" we found ourselves more interested in what Jody Hill had to say (he wrote and directed FFW too) although Seth was dependable for comic relief and that silly little stuttering laugh he does. We're not going to say he was stoned but perhaps he had recently watched Pineapple Express.
The Aero Theater is a part of American Cinematheque which also includes The Egyptian Theater in Hollywood. On April 26, that theater will be hosting a Dirty Dancing screening and celebration at 2pm. At the Aero Theater on April 30, there will be a Michael Keaton double feature with Beetlejuice and Batman. We say, sign up for the monthly email newsletters to keep you informed.
Insider Tip: Parking on Montana is parking meters only. There are side streets which have free parking but as with everywhere in Los Angeles: read the signs.
