You can’t book flights just yet, but they’re saying that spring or summer 2009 will be when the first turbo-prop planes will take off. Just drop your pet off at the airport a couple hours before the flight, and the airline will take care of the rest. They’ll make sure your pooch gets bathroom breaks before and after the flight, but we don’t think they’ll be any in-flight entertainment. Their initial route will make stops in Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Baltimore, and New York.
This new airline is already making a splash on Twitter where it has over 900 followers, and seems to be doing a good job at responding to inquisitive users. Most of their updates have just been replies, and they haven’t been providing any new information. They’ve been promising updates since February, but it looks like much of the same. April Fool's Day was last week, so we are still a little skeptical, but deep down we hope this is the real deal. Although, with their own airline, animals are just one-step closer to taking over.
