Heidi And Spencer, Actually Married This Time

We know you were just hanging onto your monitors all weekend to find out: After three years, 800 fights and two near-misses, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt actually tied the knot this weekend in a Pasadena church, and they made sure everyone was watching.

The bride wore Monique Lhuillier and Neil Lane jewels and walked down the aisle behind her sister Holly, a featured character on "The Hills" who once tried to make Heidi choose between her and Spencer. Both sets of parents were also in attendance and US that Lauren Conrad herself showed, although surely MTV is keeping that detail under its veil before the wedding's inevitable airing on "The Hills"' fifth season. Other visitors from the Hillsiverse: Brody and girlfriend Jayde, Frankie, Audrina, Lo and straight from "Laguna Beach," Kristin Cavallari.

Sister to the groom Stephanie Pratt told US Magazine the wedding was "completely different" than the time Speidi eloped in Mexico under the influence of mucha tequila, because "there was a legal priest, and the ceremony had prayers."

The couple hired a skywriter to write "Spencer Loves Heidi" outside the church below the ceremony, which Spencer helpfully captured on film for his Twitter followers. Both newlyweds tweeted about preparations for the wedding, including a brow clean-up for Spence and an eleventh-hour poll from Heidi on how to do her hair. After the big day, Heidi gloated "getting married has been the craziest yet best experience of my life" while Spencer talked about being touched... by the Holy Spirit.

The reception was held at Social Hollywood with, no kidding, margaritas and an after-party at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire Hotel. With weddings like these, this whole economic crisis will be turned around in no time at all.
