Will Ferrell Takes On Bear Grylls in Swedish Hinterland

We've never fully recovered from the 2007 scandal involving Bear Grylls, host of Man vs. Wild, who was accused of staging some of his wilderness survival adventures. But the guest apperance of Will Ferrell might just be the Neosporin that we need.
Will is set to appear on an episode of the Discovery Channel show in early June in which he and Bear spent two days exploring the Swedish hinterland. The hinterland, as we just learned, is pretty much no-man's land and in Sweden that involves a lot of ice and snow.
Armed with only the most basic survival equipment, Grylls took Ferrell through the paces of real life survival in the ice-bound mountain and glacier ranges in the far north of Sweden.
Typical of the series, Grylls showed the actor -- who took part in the show to promote his upcoming adventure comedy, Land of the Lost -- what it takes to find food in the forests. They even drink their own urine and bite into reindeer eyeballs.
The two also tandem-abseiled off a helicopter, rappelled down frozen waterfalls and camped out overnight in the freezing temperatures. While Will did the stint as part of a "Land of the Lost" promotion, we're wondering if his Swedish wife Viveca had any say in the locale.
