AirTran Wants To Know What You Want On Every Flight

Last time we heard from AirTran, the airline was bragging about its new route to Atlantic City. However, the airline is usually pretty quiet and rarely reveals marketing gimmicks or promotions like its low cost carrier buddies. Even their Twitter account is somewhat lacking�if it�s really even their account�only four updates since March of 2008. Well, some money must have trickled down to the marketing department, because they just launched a new campaign where travelers can share what they want to see on every flight.

When you head over to their promo page, just fill out a comment card and let them know what you want on every AirTran flight. There�s a map where you can see what people are requesting in the lower 48, and so far New Yorkers want WiFi, HDTV, and �Other.� Overall, it looks like WiFi, HDTV, and massages are in the lead. Puppies round out the top 10, with balls and waffle makers coming in at numbers 12 and 15, respectively.

Of course we want to see WiFi too, and we�re really hoping that this is what the promotion is all about. We�ll find out in only 19 days, as the whole gimmick will be revealed on May 12. Just make sure that you enter to win a free seat on every one of their flights for a year once you finish entering an inappropriate suggestion�that�s exactly what we did.
