Jetblue Saves You From the 'Seat Monster' in New Videos

Riding on the wave of humor that Jetblue has enjoyed with the success of their "CEO's Guide to Jetting" videos, they've returned with two new and fun shorts, this time aimed at the average air traveler's needs for space and entertainment.

With animation by Against All Odds / Blacklist and visual effects company Mass Market, the two cartoons transport a frustrated flyer from "Other Guy Air" (which curiously looks like a Ryanair plane) into the comfy, private entertainment-stocked environs of Jetblue.

The first video, entitled "Seat Monster," wins out as our favorite among the two for its accurate depiction of how it feels to try and get some work done when, because of the close proximity of the seatback in front, you can't even open up your laptop screen to a viewable angle. Somebody call the chiropractor if you're stuck in this configuration.

Expect to see these on your TV soon, but not before a rumored third video debuts, if we are to believe a comment on Jetblue's Vimeo account. Oh, how we love aviation rendered in illustration.

    are they real?

    i've never flown jetblue,but i'm loving that seat monster one. is there really more room on their planes?

    I feel like this could backfire

    Having seen this ad about 30 times in a cab last weekend, I am now afraid of the Seat Monster and I'm sure JetBlue doesn't want me to associate their brand with fear.
