1. American Airlines U.S. Destinations: American has released a bunch of sales for various routes in the U.S. We say that folk in cold Minnesota might need to take advantage of the Miami-Minneapolis route which is going for $99 one-way.
Restrictions: While you can take advantage of these rates through August 14, travel is not valid May 21-26 or July 2-6 for all destinations.
2. JetBlue to Seattle : JetBlue has a flight from New York to Seattle for the low price of $218. How low is that? Well, we just booked a flight from LA to Seattle on Virgin America for $180. This sort of makes us want to fly to NYC from LA then back onto Seattle just to say we flew for $218 on JetBlue.
Restrictions: Travel is valid midweek from April 29 through June 17. Monday-Thursday and Saturday travel is cheaper.
3. Last Chance for Delta to Europe: Today is the last day for Delta's fare sale to Europe with flights from NY to Zurich for $329 (Service begins June 8th.) Or Chicago to Rome for $399.
Restrictions: You have to book today! Also, there are some city-wide black-out dates that you need to look at.
4. Yet Another Southwest Sale: Southwest has put together yet another low-fare sale, offering one-way trips for $49. In reality, most flights are $99 one-way but if you feel like scanning the long list of prices, you will find a $49 trip here and there. We found them on flights from Los Angeles to San Jose, Baltimore to Albany and several flights from various origins to Albuquerque.
Restrictions: A 14-day advance purchase required and you must book before April 6. Travel is good through August 14 but black-out dates of May 21 - May 26, and July 2 - July 6 apply.
5. Continental's Extremely Last-Minute Fares: These aren't the cheapest deals on the block but Continental does have a section offering last minute trips for this weekend. Houston to Buenos Aires might be out of our range at $799 round-trip but Cleveland to Toronto for $128 round-trip could be a fun escape from the U.S. You must travel this Saturday and return either Monday or Tuesday.
Restrictions: You need to book soon and flights are non-refundable and non-changeable. You may also not be guaranteed seating. Guh.
