How to Get Tickets to Jimmy Fallon's New Show

March 4, 2009 at 8:47 AM | by cmb | 0 Comments

Monday night, Jimmy Fallon made his debut as the new host of "Late Night." So far, things haven’t been going so good. Critics have panned his awkward opening, the L.A. Times called his first show, "forced, amateurish and uncomfortable.” But it has had its moments (like the reunion of Fallon and Justin Timberlake doing their Gibb brothers impersonation) and it is sure to get better, no one should be judged on their first day at a new job.

If you want to watch Jimmy tape his show live in Rockefeller Center you can get tickets for free by calling their ticket office at (212) 664-3056. Tickets are given out about a month in advance. You can only reserve up to four seats and must be at least 17 to see the show live.

You can also try to get a stand-by ticket. You have to arrive at the NBC Studios marquee on 49th St by 9 A.M. the day of the taping. If there are any stand-by tickets left, after 9 A.M., they will be available in the NBC Experience Store in Rock Center.

Stand-by tickets do not guarantee you a seat. You can bring your stand–by ticket back later in the day when they tape the show and if there are available seats at that time, you may be able to get in but honestly, your chances are slim.

One cool thing "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" is doing is they are sending out alerts about any last minute ticket openings through Jimmy's twitter updates.
