Where to Eat:
Storms Restaurant is a favorite of locals, not only for their menu, but also for their price. Known for serving traditional Italian dishes, one of their house specialties is the Storms Greens & Beans, sautéed escarole and beans, sliced hot sausage and sautéed chicken for 13.95. Storms, located at 429 4th Avenue, is open daily from 11 a.m.- 7 p.m.
What to See:
The majority of "Adventureland" was filmed at Kennywood Park, located in West Miffin, PA, about ten miles south of Pittsburgh. Kennywood is open daily May 13 - August 25, 2009, and features the usual array of rides, shows, and junk food. One of the favorite rides at the park is the Pitfall, where riders free fall 251' straight to the ground. Adult admission is $33.99, children’s admission is $20.99.
