Last month Allegiant launched flights twice a week from Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport in Kentucky to Orlando. The local newspaper even reports that there has been an average of about 138 passengers aboard the flights, which leaves only 12 empty seats on these planes.
Just yesterday the citizens of Arkansas got the chance to visit with Lady Luck. Starting in early June, flights will depart Bentonville, Arkansas—home of Wal-Mart—to Vegas on Thursday and Sunday. If Vegas isn’t your style, go to the beach instead. Flights to LAX were announced recently and will start delivering passengers to California on May 22. It’s no secret that Wal-Mart enjoys a good deal.
Finally, Knoxville is getting their own discount route too. Allegiant will begin nonstop flights to Charlotte County Airport, between Sarasota and Ft. Myers, on Fridays and Mondays—perfect for a weekend getaway. Promotional rates started at $29 each way, before taxes and fees, but there are still some $29 deals left if you head out in May.
