Chasing Racers is back, with a brand new Amazing Race 14 mashup. This map will update the morning after every new episode. Send along tips, rumors, gossip, locations and spoilers to our map editors, become a member and comment on the stories below and add to the Jaunted-Flickr photo pool to get in on the fray.

Remember to zoom in, out and around on the map--with so much happening in each episode, it's easy to miss a map point.

Well, it's another exciting week, Race fans! We're down to nine teams, and the competition is definitely heating up. After losing the two most distracting teams right off the bat, we were left wondering just who are the rest of these people? We haven't seen most of them except in the opening credits. Guess we better start paying attention. Will Victor and Tammy build on their impressive win last week, or will sibling rivalry derail their victory train? Can Mel and Mike call on a higher power for an assist, or will Mel's injured groin be their doom? Also, what's going on with flirty Luke and those Dolphins cheerleaders?!

LET'S FIND OUT!

This week, teams travel by train to Munich, then catch a quick flight to Bucharest, Romania. Once there, they must take taxis to the Sala Gimnastica to find their next clue. Tammy and Victor are out first and catch an early flight to Bucharest. Unfortunately, their plane encounters some technical difficulties, and is forced to turn back to Munich, leaving the front runners way behind the rest of the pack. Victor is already becoming triple-irritating, and we're only ten minutes into the episode. The rest of the teams are scrambling to board one of two flights. Married couple Brad and Victoria decide to take a gamble on a flight via Amsterdam, but get stuck there until 9am, leaving them way behind everyone else. Nice work, geniuses!

ROADBLOCK
In this challenge, team members must execute a series of gymnastics routines, including balance beam, parallel bars and floor exercises. Once completed, they will receive the next clue. Amanda takes the challenge and blows through it in minutes, giving her and Kris a sizable lead. We would have preferred to see Kris in that leotard, but no such luck. The rest of the competitors were courageous to don those Lycra outfits -- bulges everywhere. And not the good kind.

So, the teams are now off to Brasov, Transylvania, via train. Once there, they must find the Biserica Neagra, or Black Church for the next clue. Tammy and Victor are hung up at the gymnastics challenge, and Victor is being judgmental and pouty. Meanwhile, Brad and Victoria are making their way from Amsterdam, and the rest of the gang is headed to the neighborhood of Vlad the Impaler.

DETOUR
Once in Brasov, teams hit the Detour, and must choose between Gypsy Moves and Vampire Remains. In Gypsy Moves, teams must load a cart with all of the contents of a gypsy household, transport it and then unload it. In Vampire Remains, teams must locate and then drag a coffin down a hill. Then, they must unlock and open the coffin and remove the contents. Then, they must impale the wooden frames on a stake until they find one with a route marker flag inside.

Needless to say, it's a hot mess all over the place. Over at Gypsy Moves, there are car bodies, tires and barrels to be loaded and moved. Junk is falling off, and tempers flare. Amanda and Kris manage to temporarily misplace their Race fanny pack. Look, if there's one thing we've learned (we're looking at YOU, Dallas - Season 13), it's that you have to keep your valuables on your person at all times. Over at the Vampire challenge, teams are working through the series of locks, chains and wooden frames to find the flag. Victor and Tammy end up lost on a hike across Transylvania because Victor is following trail blazes instead of Amazing Race arrows. Hello! This isn't the Appalachian Trail. They stumble around Blair Witch style until they reach the top of the mountain and Victor finally sobs in defeat. Dude, scrape up what masculinity you have left and follow your hot/brainy sister for once!

THE PIT STOP
Vila Panoramic overlooks Dracula's castle and is the Pit Stop for this leg of the race. In an incredible first place finish, it's Grandpa Joe and Charlie Bucket! Well, actually, it's Mel and Mike. Same dif. They win a trip for two to La Mariposa in Costa Rica. Amanda ad Kris nab second place with Kisha and Jen in third.

OUSTED
Brad and Victoria's gamble imploded on them in Amsterdam. Finishing last, they were eliminated. There's no real looking back, because we barely knew who they were. Ah well, have fun back in Columbus!

NEXT WEEK
The teams head to the frozen tundra of Siberia, and challenges that seem to involve toppling firewood and possibly careening downhill on a luge. Or maybe it was a sled.

The harder they fall

The Victor and Tammy show went from slightly amusing to irritating very quickly. I was actually amazed they made it back in time to save themselves. Mel and Mike had a good win.

Really now can we say "stubborn"

I can't believe Victor and Tammy made it! Victor would not stop and use common sense to think about what he was doing. Even after being reminded SEVERAL times that AR markers are red and yellow arrows. Once again male pride took over and refused to "stop and ask for directions" when little sister's "uterine homing device" kicked in and shouted WRONG WAY! Tammy needs to get a voice and stand her ground when big brother's bullheadedness comes into play.

Victor is a jerk

but I think his behavior is more of an oldest sibling thing (I am one!) than necessarily a guy thing. But he's going to have an uphill climb to get Tammy back on his side.

Poor Brad and Victoria. As if it wasn't bad enough that they got delayed then she had to put on that ridiculous outfit.

But can we get a mild cheer for Christi and Jodi for improving their standing this week?
