"'Animal House' antics" are common among the drunks at Dallas' airports, and as Senior Corporal Jance Crowther explains, "they seem to think as long as somebody else is driving they can do what they want to do." What's even more interesting is that more often than not, the drunks are businessmen who imbibe over layovers or delays, and expense more than they handle.
Although we consistently see slovenly passengers on Amtrak, and have totally been on a train stopped so that police could remove a rider, we have yet to board a flight with a problem passenger (knock on wood). If you were seated on plane next to someone who had obviously had far too many to drink, would you notify the flight crew?
Have you ever had a flight delayed because of onboard misbehavior or had a drunken passenger removed before takeoff? Let us know in the comments below, and in the meantime we'll start looking for a travel-size breath detector.
