Jetblue Suggests Buying A Suitcase Suit To Avoid Baggage Fees On Other Airlines

Do you know what happens when you're bored on a Sunday night and avoiding work? You stumble across things like Jetblue's Facebook page, where they've just launched their own faux-Skymall ad campaign of sorts.

It's called the "Flyers Collection," like an upscale selection of duty-free products, which you'll need if you choose to fly with "the other guys," in the words of Jetblue. Keep in mind that these are joke products and not actually for sale, but the concept behind some of them is so timely that we wouldn't be surprised to see a comedian break out with the "Extrago Sherpa Suit" to make a point about baggage fees.

The Flyers Collection ads are the latest in a recent history of fabulously brilliant, spot-on (yet tongue-in-cheek) campaigns from Jetblue. The "Seat Monster" ads made excellent use of animation and we must've watched the "CEO's Guide To Jetting" several times like it was a favorite SNL skit, but this newest push really hits home with holiday travel. We could truly use an airline pillow embroidered with "I don't want to be here either," but when you click to buy any of the products, you'll be met with this clever response:

Thanks for shopping at The Flyers Collection. Due to unexpected demand, this product has sold out. If you'd rather just book a more comfortable flight, simply Go Jetting.

This doesn't change our desire for the "full-body compression suit" to show up in our stockings this Christmas. Kinky!
