The first epicurean excursion will be a cruise aboard the Regent Seven Seas Mariner, an all-suite, all-balcony ship. It'll set sail July 18 for a seven-day cruise to the Tuscan region of Italy and the South of France. As far as price, here's a sampling of what to expect: a Regent Seven Seas Baltic cruise will start at $8,055 per guest and rates for a Regent Seven Seas Mediterranean cruise will begin at $5,545. We told you to start saving up.
On the flip side, the vacays will be mostly all-inclusive. What'll cost you extra are the add-ons. One such optional add-on will be offered in places like Barcelona, Spain and Tuscany, where a driver will shuttle you around in a private car and guide you along a Bon Appétit-approved culinary tour throughout the region (price not yet available).
As we mentioned, the specifics of the programs are still being worked out, but a representative told us that it's possible that editors and writers of the food magazine will somehow participate and that celebrity chefs may pop up. To find out more about the vacations, visit Signature's website for information on contacting one of the travel cooperative's consultants. Keep an eye out for Signature's member agencies to launch sites promoting the culinary trips in mid-January.
