The only snag that you might run into is that if you're coming off of another marriage or your sugar daddy recently died; you'll have to show proof of the original divorce decree or a death certificate if either event occurred within 30 days of applying for a marriage license.
There are a number of marriage licensing agents on the island, but the easiest way to an elopement is staying at a hotel like the Royal Lahaina Resort, where a wedding consultant will handle all of the deets of your big day, from making an appointment with a licensing agent to holding your nuptials on the hotel's property along Kaanapali Beach or the on-site flower-filled gazebo.
The best perk of getting married in Maui is that you get to kick off 2010 with a honeymoon on a tropical island. We believe the correct term is "weddingmoon."
