Ivana Trump Causes Delta Delay, Gets Kicked Off Flight

Boy, it was just not the weekend for Delta, what with their Amsterdam-Detroit flight back-to-back terrorism issues, but good old diva Ivana Trump also caused some ruckus on a Palm Beach-New York LGA flight. Apparently the perpetual first class flier became unruly and foul-mouthed because of children who were running up and down the aisles of the plane. That seems a bit of an overstatement—we bet the kids weren't going crazy or the fight crew would have dealt with it—but Ivana's attitude was enough to get her kicked off the flight.

Here's what went down:

The departing jet�s pilot called deputies about 2:30 p.m. because of a foul-mouthed and unruly passenger in seat 1C, in first class. When the lawmen arrived, they discovered the abusive passenger was the well-known socialite. They described her as 'belligerent' and 'aggravating.' According to PBSO, Trump first was unhappy about her seat. Flight attendants offered her another, and headphones, to calm her down. But then Trump became more frustrated when children started running up and down the aisle while screaming.

And all this before the flight even left the gate! Among the colorful language used by Trump was the term "little f*ckers." After the plane had begun to taxi, Trump even took to directing her insults to the passengers seated around her. It was at this point that the plane returned to the gate and deputies removed her from the flight. She was not charged (because she's a celebrity, duh, and that's how things work), and her flight suffered a two-hour delay as a result.

Ivana is no stranger to pulling diva moves on a plane; in 2008 she caused major ire on another Palm Beach flight when she was seated in coach as a result of a change in flights. Eventually a first class passenger switched with her so she would shut up.

Can somebody say "TSA watch list?"

Possibly TSA could put Ivana Trump's name on the DO NOT FLY listing. That way our flights would not be delayed because of socialites and/or terrorists. Praise to the Delta crew.

am i the only one who has some sympathy for her? children on planes can be pretty horrific. i know delaying the flight is Bad Ivana but i know exactly where she's coming from

i feel that if this were you or i talking shit about children on the plane in coach, we would be hauled off to the airport jail. but ivana just gets put on a later flight.

anyways, children can be insufferable while flying but ivana was in first class and the flight is only 2.5 hours. maybe she should just fly private if she can't deal with that.
