Tom's of Maine: Debatable Deodorant Strength But Now TSA-Approved

If you consider yourself a green traveler, then you make sure your flight has been carbon neutralized, you request that housekeeping refrain from washing your sheets during your hotel stay, you eat at sustainable restaurants and you take public transportation whenever you can.

We're guessing that if you make this much of an effort when you're traveling, you're probably doing way more when you're at home. And we're guessing that if we peeked into your medicine cabinet we would probably find some Tom's of Maine personal care products stashed in there.

If you've never stepped foot inside a Whole Foods supermarket, allow us to give you some background: Tom's of Maine uses all-natural ingredients and are 100 percent not tested on animals, making them a top choice for folks who care about what they put in and on their bodies. But up until now, their toothpastes, mouthwashes and bar soaps had yet to come in TSA-approve travel sizes. Finally, you can quit trying to squeeze out the toothpaste into a small container.

Tom's of Maine is now making "3oz or less" travel products. We're not quite convinced that Tom's deodorant is as powerful as our chemically-enhanced Secret or Lady SpeedStick travel sized deodorant but we'd certainly try out the travel-sized Tom's natural mouthwash (in peppermint, spearmint or lemon-line) and the spearmint toothpaste. That is, after we deplete all the hotel toiletries we've stolen during our hotel stays.

Tom's of Maine's travel-sized products are available at Drugstore.com and in select drugstores/supermarkets. Toothpaste and mouthwash start at $1.79.
