Although the return to life as usual is bittersweet for the jetters, Jetblue isn't putting a stopper in this magic bottle; they hinted this morning that this could only be the first, and not the last, AYCJ Pass. In the grand scheme of airlines, it is already spawning imitators, as yesterday Brazil's Azul announced their own $285 "Passporte Azul."
While we all enjoy lovely fantasies of what we'd do while flying around Brazil for a month, especially now that they're all energized by the Olympics win, let's also reflect on a month that was truly eye-opening for commercial aviation. We meanwho knew that Chicago-O'Hare has an airport dentist, or that baggage closets make such nice bedrooms?
