Fear not this weekend if you happen to be in Tokyo, since Japan Fashion Week features gallery exhibits, parties, and public events in addition to the usual runways. For lovers of Japanese minimalism, avant-garde fashion, or the ultimate in hip streetwear, this is the place to scout for future trends. Forget the Boston, New York, and Chicago marathons; everybody is running to Germany this weekend for the Frankfurt Marathon on Sunday.
