With so much travel news flying around, we don't always have time to give every story big play. Here's more of the day's news, in brief.

· JetBlue Unveils Latest Sale: The carrier's selling one-way trips for as little as $39, thought the good seats on cold-weather-to-warm-weather flights will of course run you a bit more. Meanwhile, lots of B6 passengers look like their pets.

· New York's Winter Restaurant Week Opens: Tables are available from January 18-23 and 25-30, and while you'll be getting a good deal, help out a recession-era resto with a heavy drink order. We will!

· AirTran U Back in Session: If you're willing to navigate byzantine regulations and don't have anything better to do, you can score some super-cheap flights on the airline that's too dumb to be evil. [Via]

· Life in the Tel Aviv "Bubble": According to Neal Ungerleider, who's in Tel Aviv right now, residents there are still sipping cappucinos while Beersheva, Southern Israel and Gaza are hellish war zones.
