Upset City! Philly-to-Tampa, Anyone?

We're betting that in the last 12 hours, travel booking sites have seen a sharp upturn in searches for Philadelphia-to-Tampa flights, after the surprisingly resilient Eagles knocked off the Giants and moved within one win of Super Bowl XLIII, set for February 1 in Tampa Bay.

The good news for Philly fans is that there are still some cheap flights out there, with United's $167 round trip fare (with a Thursday or Saturday departure) being the cheapest right now. Of course, Philly's no sure thing to get by fellow upstarts Arizona next week, although Cardinals fans aren't looking to score the same kind of deal, with the cheapest Phoenix-Tampa flights we see in the $210-$300 range, depending on when you can leave.

In the AFC, Baltimore will take on Pittsburgh for a trip to the big show, and Ravens fans can get in on an excellent AirTran sale, with flights from BWI going for $139 if you're willing to leave Wednesday or earlier. Steelers fans can even do the trip without missing work, as Delta has $164 seats from Pittsburgh on Saturday.

So whoever your team is, winter fare sales have Super Bowl flights surprisingly in play for just about everyone this year. If you're a true believer, you may want to buy now, as you can expect prices to jump if your team does win next weekend.

As for tickets to the big game? No recession pricing there. StubHub's cheapest are now at $1,785, although we bet there are plenty of Giants fans looking to unload preemptively purchased tix!
