Where to Stay:
First night festivities, including a performance by The Whispers, start off at the Fairmont Southampton. The hotel has the traditional beachfront amenities, including easy access to the ocean, lush gardens and great chairs to park yourself in during the days before the concerts. The hotel also features a full 18-hole golf course where you can show off your skills. Rates for the festival weekend start at $449 per night.
Where to Refuel:
For a place to refuel, check out Henry VIII in Southampton. The restaurant and bar features somewhat traditional pub grub, but also has some English specialty dishes like steak and kidney pie. The Bermuda Triangle and Queen's Downfall are a couple of beverages that will get you feeling good before heading out for the night. If you party a little too hard Saturday night, the restaurant also features a great Sunday brunch where you can fill up on coffee and attempt to recharge.
Where to Get Active:
If you're looking for a little more active fun during your trip to Bermuda, then give a call to Blue Water Drivers and Watersports: They'll set you up with one of their dive expeditions or snorkel tours. A guide can even take you out to one of the many shipwrecks off the shore and you'll get a chance to explore someone else's misfortune. Even without diving experience, you can still take in the shipwrecks with one of Blue Water's snorkeling programs.
