The problem, Audrina tells her coworker Chiara, is such: "I feel like I give, give and give and he never gives back." Looks like someone watched last season on DVD over the weekend!
Meanwhile! Holly and Lauren have a conciliatory summit over pastries at Amadine Patisserie. Turns out they were "like the Three Musketeers" back in the day, if the three musketeers were blonde, female and disloyal. Spencer tries to ban Holly from even seeing her in a very Daddish way: "While you're under this roof," he declares, "there's no Lauren fraternizing, socializing..."
Heidi feels the same way as her beau, she just hides it better and then protests loudly and while wearing a dumb hat that while LC may be like a sister to Holly, Heidi is her sister. It's true! And it gives Heidi a window to deliver her own monologue, foisted on a coworker later. Spoiler for the whole season:
Lauren and I had this little time of fighting but we had years of a friendship. We were best friends for years. I never even had a best friend like that. It's just so unfortunate how things have ended in our lives, how we don't have our friendship any more.
First she didn't like my boyfriend and then I said things out of anger that I didn't mean... I don't know. Maybe Holly will, like, peace everything out or I don't know... Maybe one day by like a miracle we'll be friends again. Who knows, maybe one day.
In our minds it went more like, "And you shall call me Dumb Hat Heidi. And we shall live in this house forevermore. And wherever I go, you will go also."
Next week: Lo and Audrina kick it in the house while Lauren is on vacation; when she returns, Brody tattles that her former flame Duh Doug went on a date with Stephanie. For shame!
