Is there really any travel movie better than "Airplane!"? Short answer: No. No, there isn't.

The cast showed up on the Today Show this morning for no particular reason and shared stories about why they decided to star in the film--and their experiences in airports and airplanes since the movie came out in 1980.

Best moment? Kareem Abdul Jabbar looking absolutely giant compared to everyone else on the set.

This movie..

certainly is one of the funniest ever! From beginning to end you just can't help but laugh. And how bout Airplane II: The Sequel; just the title is hilarious

Couldn't agree more about his towering presence--definitely the highlight of the segment.
