Missed Connections in London: Love in St Pancras Station

August 8, 2008 at 3:00 PM | 2 Comments

In a recent survey, half of London Underground riders admitted to swapping numbers or hooking up with someone they met on the Tube. No wonder the St Pancras Station is promoting itself as a place to go even when you're not going anywhere! With an infusion of hotties, you and your loved one could look like this statue, Paul Day's "The Meeting Place," added to the station in October.

In the station: :: Find a besuited guy on the Nottingham platform, a pen-free cutie from Leicester or an Asian girl by the lift. Corner of Euston Rd. and Pancras Rd.

Nearby: Big Chill House :: This multilevel DJ bar and dance floor hosts regular parties, like its Nice Up! birthday party every May, that can attract the tattooed. 257-259 Pentonville Road, Kings Cross

Departing: The Metropolitan Line :: Meet a working man or a confusion-causing blonde on this, the fastest Tube line which indeed passes through St Pancras. Hey, you can always ride back and disembark! From Aldgate, London to Amersham, Buckinghamshire

    What's their formula?

HALF? I'd like to bring this to Baltimore's light rail system.

    Real missed connections...

..strangely enough there is a new site dedicated to missed connections for Londoners AND there is a real missed connection ad for St Pancreas last Saturday, so it definitely is s place of Love!
