Top Chef 5: Stalking Future-Almost-Kinda-Celebs

Top Chef is pretty much the cooking show to be obsessed with nowadays (sorry, "The Next Food Network Star"), and the foodie blogosphere is sure getting the obsession thing down to a science.

Ever since bloggers got word that Top Chef 5 would be filming this summer in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, they've been on the lookout for sightings of Padma Lakshmi and company.

Now the blogger Restless has pics of the whole crew, and Eater asked their commenters to ID the cheftestants. While most of the comments have to do with ogling the female contestants, at least some think they have them nailed.

If you consider the identity of the cheftestants an exciting secret, we'd better say "spoiler alert": Among the completely unconfirmed chefs that have been ID'd are LA-based chef Steven Richter and Danny Gagnon from Montauk, Long Island's East by Northeast. Anyone else recognize their fave local sous chef?
