If heading out to see "Mamma Mia" on the big screen isn't your idea of a good time, then how about an adventure to Louisville, Kentucky? Your lady friend--or friends?--definitely won't want to go, so stay a few days and make it a mancation.

The point of the trip is the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. Since guys love baseball and jokes about hardwood, it's perfect.

Lumber has been produced here since the 19th century, and at the batting cage, you can test out replicas of famous bats throughout history including those belonging to Ted Williams and Babe Ruth. At the Ball Field exhibit you'll be thrown into the game to reenact great moments from the game while a vintage broadcast blares in the background.

Timely exhibits are definitely what keep the museum fresh, and this year brings a presidential feature to celebrate the battle between McCain and Obama. The collection provides an exhibit of signed baseballs by former US presidents. From Teddy Roosevelt to W, you'll see the link between America's pastime and the Commander in Chief.

Tickets will cost you $9 per man. Of course, as with any good museum, there's a gift shop; this one lets you customize your own bat to take home. Where to stay? Book your room at the Seelbach Hilton and get ready for a mint julep or three.
