Would You Sleep in an Airport Tent?

Seriously, would you be caught dead in this contraption? The Mini Motel is a one-person tent with air mattress, reading light, alarm clock and a pillow that sells for $40.

We can't imagine shelling out for this thing, hauling it around in our carry-on and setting it up at our gate after missing the last flight out for the night. Paying for an airport hotel kind of sucks, sure, but are we really supposed to believe that's more lame than tossing up a tent in the terminal?

What's stopping one of those huge golf cart-on-steroids things from running you over?  Or from someone just coming up and kicking your fortress?  Add a fence around it and I'll take two!

I like the fence idea (none / 0)

I guess you could luggage-lock yourself in it if you were worried about safety -- but for $20 more you could get a cheap hotel room, which would be way more comfortable and include a private bathroom.

Wha? (none / 0)

I don't really see the difference between this product and putting your coat over you as you stretch across a few seats.

the guy in the picture not only looks annoyed, but also constipated. He will totally wrinkle that jacket.
