The tour, out of Port Washington, takes guests on a 90-minute ride around Long Island's North Shore, checking out the inspiration for Gatsby's newly moneyed West Egg (King's Point) and the ridiculously wealthy estates of East Egg (Sand's Point).
Guide Eleanor Cox fills the tour with anecdotes about the folks who may have inspired Fitzgerald, tossing in stories about the modern-day barons and celebrities who have taken over their mansions. (Just one fun fact: Bill O'Reilly lives in Groucho Marx's house.)
The Great Gatsby tour runs three more times this summer: August 3, August 31 and September 7.
