Grab your multi-lace-up Irish dancing shoes, knee socks and love of Celtic tunes and head to The World Fleadh, Ireland's biggest traditional music festival, taking place about 40 miles southwest of Dublin July 31-August 4.

Tons of live music and dance (aka céilí) performances are scheduled including singer Shane MacGowan (formerly of the Pogues) and a performance by the Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra. If you're not up to par on your dance steps, don't worry, there are also master classes available for festival-goers.

Tickets to most shows are available online, and if you feel like splurging you can book the VIP package which includes an evening (August 3) at the four-star Portlaoise Heritage Hotel with drinks, a gourmet dinner and VIP tickets to the performance at The World Fleadh Dome.
